Sporting Lagos captain Abdulraheem Suleiman has promised that the team will come back stronger in the second half of the season.
The club recorded four wins, one draw, and two losses from seven matches in the first round, currently topping Conference B with 13 points.
Suleiman said the team will push harder for promotion next year. “We hope to come back stronger in 2026 after our 2025 performance, and hopefully secure the promotion ticket,” he said.
Sporting Lagos will face Godswill Akpabio FC in their next league game.
