Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé missed training on Tuesday, just one day before the big Champions League clash against Manchester City. Mbappé broke a finger during the loss to Celta Vigo, and the club says he skipped training because of the injury and other discomfort from that match.
If Mbappé can’t play on Wednesday, it would be a major setback for coach Xabi Alonso, with Spanish media saying a defeat could cost him his job. Mbappé has been Madrid’s key player, scoring 25 goals in 21 games this season.
