Bayern Munich stayed nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after earning a late draw against bottom club Mainz.
Bayern went ahead when young midfielder Lennart Karl scored from close range, but Mainz hit back before half-time through Kacper Potulski. The visitors then shocked Bayern by taking the lead in the second half with a fine header from Jae-sung Lee, leaving goalkeeper Manuel Neuer with no chance.
With just minutes left, Harry Kane saved Bayern by scoring a penalty, making sure they avoided defeat. Kane now has 18 league goals this season and 80 Bundesliga goals overall.
Despite dropping points, Bayern remain comfortably top of the table and will face Heidenheim next.
