Smart City FC head coach Olayiwola Dabiri has urged his players to move on from their Nigeria National League, NNL, opening day defeat and focus on their upcoming match against Inter Lagos.
The Lagos-based side suffered a 2-0 defeat to Abia Comets at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba last week.
The encounter with Inter Lagos will hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos
Dabiri assured they will correct all the lapses noticed in their last game.
“I am proud of my players, they should raise their heads up and focus on the next big game against Inter Lagos,” Dabiri told the club’s media.
“This league season is like a marathon, we have loads of games to play, losing our first game of the season is not the end of the road for us.
“I am grossly confident, my team will get positive results both home and away in the cause of the season, our focus is to get a ticket to the NPFL, and we will do everything humanly possible to achieve that, by the grace of God.”
