Chelsea legend Joe Cole has named the club with the best central midfielders in the Premier League.
He believes that Chelsea have the best collection of midfielders in the English top-flight league.
Goals from Pedro Neto and Enzo Fernandez were all the Blues needed to earn a 2-0 win at Turf Moor, moving them to second place in the league on Saturday.
Cole also thinks the battle for the Premier League title could be between Arsenal and Chelsea.
Chelsea parade the likes of Moises Caicedo, Andrey Santos, Enzo Fernandez, and Romeo Lavia in central midfield.
Former Chelsea star Cole believes no other club in the league has what Chelsea possess in the midfield.
He told TNT Sports, “Now Chelsea have got Enzo, Lavia, Caicedo, and Santos. Is there a collection of four central midfielders better in the Premier League? I don’t think there is.”
He added, “It’s looking rosy. Three points behind Arsenal going into the game next week. Chelsea could be sneaking back into title contention.”
Saturday’s victory over Burnley was the first time that manager Enzo Maresca has not played Caicedo in a Premier League game.
