Sunshine Stars head coach, Bobola Akinfolarin, has reacted to his team’s first win of the 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
Akinfolarin’s side defeated Gateway FC 2-0 at the Ondo State Sports Complex , Akure, on Saturday.
The young tactician insisted that his team will continue to improve on their performance.
Akinfolarin said that his team is currently undergoing rebuilding following their unimpressive campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, last season.
“We got relegated last season and we lost many of our players, so we are in a rebuilding process,” Akinfolarin told the hope.
“This is a league competition; we still have many matches to play. So, game by game, we will be improving.”
