Rangers have completed the signing of former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski from Girona for an undisclosed fee, saying his knowledge of the Scottish Premiership will be "a huge advantage".

The 26-year-old North Macedonia international has signed a four-year contract with the Glasgow club.

Miovski, who becomes the 11th new arrival under head coach Russell Martin, is likely to be in Rangers' squad for Sunday's Old Firm derby at home to leaders Celtic.

He told Rangers' website: "This is a massive club with an incredible history and I am honoured to have the opportunity to be part of it.

"The moment I heard of the interest, I knew this was where I wanted to be."

Rangers were looking for forward additions after selling Hamza Igamane to Lille this week and Martin said: "His movement, intelligence and ability to score goals make him a real asset.

"He knows all about the Scottish Premiership and has a strong track record of performing and contributing in the league, so I am excited to welcome him to our squad."

Sporting director Kevin Thelwell revealed Miovski had been "tracked closely" by Rangers, has "proven himself as a consistent goalscorer" and that his "knowledge of the Scottish Premiership is a huge advantage".
