Tottenham Sign teenage Japan defender Koga



Tottenham have signed teenage Japan defender Toko Koga from Feyenoord.

Koga, 19, has agreed a deal until June 2029,  and will wear the number 32 shirt.

She has been at Feyenoord since January 2024, first competing in the Dutch top flight at the age of 18.

Koga has 19 international caps and came off the substitutes' bench to score her country's winning goal against the United States, managed by former Chelsea boss Emma Hayes, as Japan won the 2025 SheBelieves Cup in February.

Tottenham finished 11th in the Women's Super League in 2024-25.

Head coach Robert Vilahamn was sacked in June after two years in charge.

There are reports,Tottenham are set to appoint Martin Ho, head coach of Norwegian side SK Brann, who has previously been an assistant at both Everton and Manchester United.
