Wolves forward Matheus Cunha said he did not consider leaving the club during the winter transfer window.
The 25-year-old had been linked with a move away from Molineux in January, with Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United reported to have been interested.
However, he silenced transfer rumours by signing a new four-and-a-half-year contract earlier this month.
Cunha said Wolves had "opened the door" for him when they signed him, initially on loan, from Atletico Madrid in the weeks after he missed out on Brazil's 2022 World Cup squad.
"I never think about leaving, honestly. I know I have a lot of things to do already and I always said that this was the club that gave me the chance to come back," Cunha told Football Focus.
"They opened the door for me and I always felt I wanted to give back everything so to leave in this type of situation is hard.
"I am so happy to be here. I hope to continue doing good things."
Cunha said he was "down" when he missed out on Qatar 2022, adding: "It is a little bit of depression. You go down, you don't want to go to training, you don't want to do things.
