Ukraine and Belgium suffered shock defeats in Monday’s Euro 2024 fixtures.

In the first game of the day, Romania recorded a stunning 3-0 win over Serhiy Rebrov’s men.

Nicolae Stanciu smashed in an unstoppable drive from 20 yards to open the scoring.

Goals from Razvan Marin and Denis Dragus ensured Romania recorded their first victory at a major tournament in 24 years.

In the second match of the day, Slovakia beat Belgium 1-0, thanks to a smart finish from Ivan Schranz.

Romania are now top of Group E on goal difference.
