Rangers suffer Balogun injury blow ahead crunch Celtic clash


Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has confirmed Leon Balogun picked up an injury in the club’s home win against Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Balogun, who put up a solid display in the first half, was substituted by Ben Davies after the break.

Clement revealed after the game that the Nigeria international sustained a muscle injury.

“Yes he (Balogun)was injured, that is why I had to replace him. I hope it is a small muscle injury,” Clement was quoted by Rangers Review.

“We will see in the next couple of days. But he struggled too much to continue.”

The 35-year-old has made 14 league appearances for the Light Blues in the current campaign
