Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has picked England, Portugal and France as his three favourites to win Euro 2024.
The Three Lions lost the final of the 2020 edition to Italy and are in Group C alongside Slovenia, Denmark and Serbia.
France lost to Argentina in the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar and are in Group D with Poland, Netherlands and Austria.
Portugal won all their 10 fixtures in qualifying and have been drawn in Group F alongside Turkey, Georgia and the Czech Republic.
When asked for his prediction for Euro 2024, Mourinho said in Vila do Conde on Wednesday: “For me, it’s one of the three strongest teams – Portugal, France and England
“Surprises can happen, yes. But looking at the quality and quantity of players, I think Portugal has to go there
to win.”
