Erik Ten Hag speaks on getting sacked

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said he is not concerned about his future at Old Trafford because those deciding his fate have “common sense.”

Ten Hag’s is under heavy pressure ahead of Sunday’s visit of title-challenging Arsenal.

United are set to have their worst season in the Premier League era.

The Red Devils currently sit in eighth place and might not qualify for any European competition.

Ten Hag could yet win silverware if they defeat Man City to win the FA Cup.

However, winning the trophy was not enough to save his fellow Dutchman, Louis van Gaal, from the sack at Old Trafford in 2016.

When asked if he was worried about succumbing to the same fate, Ten Hag said: “No. I think they [owners] have common sense.”
