Tuchel reveals ‘advantage’ Bayern have over Arsenal in second leg

Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, has said they have a “slight advantage” over Arsenal in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

The reverse fixture at the Allianz Arena is finely poised at 2-2.

The Gunners head into the clash following a 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa on Sunday.

Bayern, meanwhile, beat Koln 2-0, a day before Bayer Leverkusen were crowned champions.

The Champions League represents Tuchel’s final chance to win silverware before he leaves Bayern at the end of the season and he believes his side’s experience in the competition could be decisive.

He told the media: “We have a slight advantage when you look at our experience in this competition.

“But to turn it into a real advantage, you also need a top performance. We’re ready to give it everything we’ve got.

“We’ll need everything again. We’ll need passion and the same tactical discipline as in the first leg.”
