Theo Walcott hails Arsenal star

Former Arsenal forward, Theo Walcott, has waxed lyrical about the club’s captain, Martin Odegaard.

This was following the player’s involvement in his side’s 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

Arsenal bounced back from two straight defeats to Aston Villa in the Premier League and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

It was Odegaard that sealed Arsenal’s victory in the 90+5th minute with a fine finish.

The Norwegian beat Wolves goalkeeper, Jose Sa from a tight angle.

Leandro Trossard had already given Arsenal the lead in the 45th minute.

Walcott analyzed Odegaard’s goal on Sky Sports and explained why Mikel Arteta has built his team around him.

“Odegaard gets a bit of luck with the ball coming back to him but puts himself in that position he deserves it.

“He’s always involved in the big moments. Arsenal built their team around him and you can see why they did,” he said.
