Ten Hag reveals triple injury blow ahead of Man Utd vs Liverpool clash

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has confirmed that he lost three more players to injuries, as they lost 4-3 to Chelsea on Thursday night.

Raphael Varane barely completed the first half and was replaced by Johnny Evans.

However, Evans himself had to be substituted in the second half at Stamford Bridge.

Ten Hag has revealed that Casemiro was also struggling with a knock.

On injuries to Varane and Evans, the Dutchman said: “Also Casemiro we have to take off. That doesn’t help in such moments. You need these types to show leadership and what to do.

“The team will be there on Sunday. They have character. They showed it today, fighting ourselves into the game.”

United welcome rivals Liverpool next on Sunday.
