Man Utd 'Pushing' to Extend Kobbie Mainoo Deal

Manchester United are pushing to extend Kobbie Mainoo's contract by this summer after initial discussions in February, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer reporter says INEOS, who are now in control of football operations after Sir Jim Ratcliffe became minority owner in February, want 18-year-old Mainoo to be one of the faces of the new project.

It is claimed a new deal for the midfielder would see a salary increase and several add-ons.

Mainoo, whose current Man Utd contract runs until 2027, has impressed with a string of eye-catching displays that saw him earn a first England cap last month.
