Kvaratshkelia likely to stay at Napoli, says father

Khvicha Kvaratshkelia's father believes his son will stay at Napoli next season.

The Georgian winger has been linked with a move away from the Scudetto champions for several years, having impressed at the Serie A club for a number of years.

However, the player's father, Badri, believes a move away is unlikely to happen in 2024.

“I am so happy with Napoli’s title and that my son Khvicha contributed to winning it. I am grateful to Italy and Naples for having welcomed and appreciated him as a person and as a footballer,” he told Radio Serie A.

“He’s the only one who can choose whether to stay at Napoli, but I think he will continue wearing the Napoli shirt. In any case, I will respect his decision.”
