England boss Gareth Southgate confirms Harry Kanewill miss the friendly match against Belgium on Tuesday night.
The Three Lions captain picked up an ankle problem in Bayern Munich's recent 5-2 win over Darmstadt earlier this month.
Kane watched on from the Wembley sidelines as England lost 1-0 to Brazil and will now return to his club for treatment.
"Kane will go back [to Germany]," Southgate said in his post-match press conference. "He won't be fit for Tuesday."
Kane joins Bukayo Saka in withdrawing from the England squad this week.
England also have Nick Pope, Kieran Trippier, Marc Guehi, Levi Colwill, Reece James, Tyrone Mings, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jack Grealish sidelined with injury.
Cole Palmer and Jordan Henderson should be fit to face Belgium at Wembley on Tuesday night.
