Lyon make transfer offer for Nottingham Forest’s Orel Mangala

Lyon are in talks with Nottingham Forest to sign midfielder Orel Mangala.

Mangala has been courted by several clubs this month, with Sky in Italy consistently reporting interest from Napoli.

French club Lyon, who are also chasing West Ham’s Said Benrahma, are now showing concrete interest as Forest consider offers for a number of their players before the deadline.

FC Copenhagen have entered negotiations with Forest over a deal that would take Scottish international Scott McKenna to Denmark.

McKenna is thought to be keen on the move in order to get more regular game time in the run up to Scotland’s involvement in the Euros this summer.

McKenna – who has also been linked with Rangers – has not played for Forest in the Premier League since September.

McKenna’s Forest contract expires in June, and so any agreement with Copenhagen is expected to mark an end to his time at the City Ground.
