Aston Villa have two bids for Rogers rejected

Middlesbrough are standing firm on their valuation of Morgan Rogers after rejecting two bids from Aston Villa.

Boro are understood to have grown frustrated with the level of Villa's offers for the winger, who is considered a valuable part of their team and plans to push for promotion.

Villa's most recent offer is said to have fallen far short of Boro's valuation and it remains to be seen whether the Midlands club will follow up with a third bid.

Boro are in no rush to sell him and are excited to see what impact he will have in their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Chelsea tonight

Rogers is thought to be keen on the move to Villa given their Premier League status and the fact his family live in the Birmingham area, but the 21-year-old only just joined

Boro last summer from Manchester City's academy for £1m.
