Guardiola names three teams to challenge Man City for title

 Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has said Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham are the three frontrunners to challenge them for the Premier League title this season.

City is seeking to lift their fourth consecutive title.

Guardiola’s men currently lead the way in the table with 28 points from 12 games.

Liverpool are a point behind City in second place, level on 27 points with Arsenal.

Tottenham have dropped to fourth place with 26 points.

When asked if he thinks Liverpool will be City’s closest title challenger this season, Guardiola replied: “Absolutely.

“I think Arsenal will be too. They are so solid. Spurs, even the two defeats they have had recently, I think they will be there.”
