Kristoffer Ajer has signed a new deal at Brentford, the club have confirmed this afternoon.
The Norway international - who played in the 3-3 draw with Scotland on Sunday - has extended his stay in west London for a further four-and-a-half years, with the new contract running until 2028.
The deal also includes a club option for a further 12 months.
Bees head coach Thomas Frank said: “I’m very pleased that Kristoffer has extended his contract. During his first two seasons with us, he was very unlucky with injuries; he never got that rhythm or run of games.
“Now he is playing regularly at centre-back and right full-back and I think he plays both of those positions at a very high level.
“Kristoffer is getting better and better. He is working hard to realise his potential and we are excited that he will take those next steps with us.”
