Scott: Earps will remain Man Utd goalkeeper

Former England international Jill Scott believes Mary Earps will remain as a Man United goalkeeper, despite keen interest from Arsenal to sign the Lionesses No1.

The stopper was one of England's standout performers at the Women's World Cup, and won the WSL's Golden Glove for her 14 clean sheets last season.

Scott told Sky Sports News: "It would be a big move. Answering honestly, I think she would stay at Man United.

"She enjoys her time there, she’s done fantastically well. You see that with each game for England and her club, she keeps getting better and better.

"I would see no reason why she would move, I could be wrong, but my opinion is we’ll see her as Manchester United goalkeeper this season."

The WSL transfer window remains open until September 14, with the league kicking off on October 1, live on Sky Sports.
