Chelsea Women have signed Netherlands midfielder Wieke Kaptein on a four-year deal from FC Twente.
The 18-year-old, who has three senior caps, will return to the Dutch side on loan this season to continue her development.
Kaptein, then only 17, was part of the Netherlands squad at the Women’s World Cup and made one appearance against Vietnam.
