Bonucci to take legal action against Juventus

Leonardo Bonucci will take legal action against Juventus after being placed on the fringes of the squad in the summer, leading to his transfer to Union Berlin, according to Sky Italy.

Bonucci is seeking compensation due to what he claims was a lack of adequate training and preparation conditions made available to him, and professional and reputational damage.

The Italy defender says he was forced to carry out evening training sessions at different times to rest of the first-team squad, and never in the presence of technical staff.

He also claims he was not able to access the gym, swimming pool and restaurant, and was not included in the list of eligible players for Serie A.

Bonucci will donate any compensation he receives to charity.

Juventus are yet to comment.
