Mbappe turns down PSG renewal offer, still set on Madrid

While Paris Saint-Germain are doing their level best to find a way to make a deal with Kylian Mbappe, the French striker continues to refuse to meet them in the middle.

The Spanish outlet report that the defending Ligue 1 champions had tried to get him to extend until 2025, with a release clause included for that summer.

The French international has snubbed the dealthough, and looks to still be holding out for Real Madrid, despite coach Carlo Ancelotti describing his team as "complete" this summer.

PSG face last year's runners-up Lens on Sunday at home, and it remains to be seen if Mbappe will feature following this latest development, despite the fact he appeared to have reconciled somewhat with coach Luis Enrique as he rejoined the first team's training just after the season began.
