Leeds are in talks with Tottenham over a potential loan deal for Djed Spence.
It is not yet at an advanced stage and other clubs are interested in the right-back.
Leeds are looking at a number of players across various positions before the deadline, including Bayer Leverkusen’s Nadiem Amiri.
The Championship side have also been in talks to sign Genk’s Joseph Paintsil – but Southampton are also interested.
Leeds are also interested in a loan deal for Leicester City left-back Luke Thomas.
