Cafu signs for Rotherham!

Rotherham United have signed midfielder Cafu on a one-year deal. 

The Portuguese defensive midfielder left Premier League side Nottingham Forest at the end of last season after the expiration of his contract.

Cafu came through the ranks at Benfica, before joining Vitoria Guimaraes. The 30-year-old has also enjoyed spells at Loriet and Metz in France and Legia Warsaw, where he won the Police League title in 2017/18. 

He also won the Greek title with Olympiacos in February 2020, before joining Nottingham Forest on a loan deal. 

He helped the Reds win promotion to the Premier League for the first time in over two decades during the 2021/22 campaign, before going on to appear in the Premier League.
