Balogun set for Rangers return following King injury
Defender Leon Balogun is set to rejoin Rangers pending a successful medical at the Ibrox club.
The 35-year-old's return comes after an ankle injury suffered by Leon King on Tuesday, which will rule the youngster out for a 'significant period of time'.
Balogun, who won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup during his two seasons in Glasgow, made no secret of his desire to remain at the club but departed last summer when his contract was not renewed.
The Nigerian international went on to join QPR last season and despite training with the club this summer, posted a farewell message on Wednesday following the expiry of his deal at Loftus Road.
He said: "Thank you to everyone at QPR - the staff, the players and you the supporters."Despite everything that has happened throughout this very difficult season, I've really enjoyed my time at the club.
"I'm wishing you nothing but the best for the future you Rsss."
