Ten Hag no longer wants two Man United stars at Old Trafford

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag no longer needs the services of Eric Bailly and Alex Telles this summer and has sanctioned the sale of the defenders.

Manchester Evening News reports that the Red Devils have listed Bailly and Telles as must-sell players.

Both players have just one year left in their contracts and spent the last season out on loan.

Ivory Coast international Bailly was sent out on loan at Ligue 1 side Marseille where injury issues resurfaced, while Telles was sent to Sevilla.

The Brazilian played 38 games across competitions, providing three assists for the Europa Cup winners.

Erik ten Hag has already signed Tyrell Malacia last summer, and the Dutch left-back has provided astute competition for Luke Shaw.

That leaves Telles’ chances of breaking into the Red Devils’ side in jeopardy.

Telles arrived at Old Trafford in 2020 from Primeira Liga giants Porto for £15.4 million.
