UCL: No plans to stop Haaland – Ancelotti reveals why he’s afraid of Man City

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has insisted they are not working on a plan to deal with Erling Haaland in their Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday.

According to him, they cannot focus on one player and underestimate a “complete” team.

Madrid won last year’s semi-final 6-5 on aggregate, including the dramatic 3-1 comeback at the Bernabeu.

But since then, City have added Haaland to their squad, with the striker scoring 51 times in all competitions already.

“Haaland is a very dangerous player. He’s an obvious danger. But only talking about Haaland means not talking about a complete team that plays well, that attacks, that has ideas.

“We aren’t planning how to play Haaland, but rather to play a team that looks unstoppable. I think we can have a chance to play an even, competitive game, and we can win,” Ancelotti told reporters on Monday
