Man Utd move to block Rangers from Butland deal

 


Manchester United are ready to double Jack Butland's wages to secure him for next season.

The English keeper signed on a six-month contract with the Red Devils in January after Martin Dubravka went back to Newcastle United.

With the loanee out of contract at Crystal Palace, he is a free agent, which means United can sign him without paying a transfer fee.

Per The Scottish Sun, United are happy with Butland and see him as a possible no.2 next season.

They are ready to make him an offer of up to double what he presently earns through his Palace contract.

Rangers in Scotland are also eager to secure the veteran, and may be able to offer him more regular game tim
