EPL: Take Sancho’s advice – Neville tells Man United’s best player

Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville has reacted to the short clip which shows Jadon Sancho telling Bruno Fernandes to stop moaning during one of the recent Premier League matches.

Neville, who has always criticised Fernandes’ antics, said he hopes the Portuguese ‘takes on board’ Sancho’s complaints.

During their Premier League victory against Aston Villa on Sunday, the winger was captured telling his skipper to ‘stop moaning’.

Fernandes scored the only goal of the night in the 39th minute, capitalising on Emiliano Martinez’s error when the Argentine goalkeeper spilled Marcus Rashford’s shot and fired in the rebound.

Fernandes was left exasperated after one of their moves fell apart and his ire seemed to be directed at England winger Sancho but the former Borussia Dortmund star was having none of it, twice appearing to shout back at Fernandes to ‘stop moaning’.

Speaking about the widely circulated clip on The Gary Neville Podcast, he said: “It sums Bruno Fernandes up.

“He’s Manchester United’s most effective player, he’s Manchester United’s best player. But I think every Manchester United fan and probably every Manchester United player is thinking: just stop moaning!

“I moaned a lot, but I didn’t do it on the pitch at my own players! So that’s probably the perfect summary of Bruno Fernandes today.”
