EPL: Really poor – Neville, Keane blames one Arsenal player after 3-0 loss to Brighton

Manchester United legends, Gary Neville and Roy Keane, have blamed Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale for his performance during the Gunners’ Premier League 3-0 defeat against Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Arsenal suffered a big blow to their Premier League title hopes after they lost at home against Brighton.

Goals from Julio Enciso, Pervis Estupinan and Deniz Undav gave Roberto De Zerbi’s side all three points against Arsenal.

Following the defeat, Neville and Keane criticised Ramsdale for his role in the third goal for Brighton, describing his display as ‘really poor’.

Neville said on Sky Sports, “By this time, Arsenal were being toyed with – they were absolutely being messed with by Brighton – it was sensational.

“I thought that was really poor from the goalkeeper [Aaron Ramsdale]. That is a soft shot against him, he either has to catch it or he has to punch it really wide out for a throw-in.

“He [ Aaron Ramsdale] cannot push that back into the boundary.”

On his part, Keane agreed with Neville’s assessment, he said: “The goalkeeper has got to either catch it or push it wide – really poor.”
