Former Arsenal man, Ray Parlour has named five players the Gunners could sign this summer.
The Gunners need to bring in some quality players to enhance their chances of challenging for the Premier League and do well in the Champions League next season.
Granit Xhaka, who has been outstanding for the Gunners this season, is leaving the Emirates Stadium and Arteta wants to sign a new midfielder to replace the Swiss.
Parlour has in his list the likes of West United’s Declan Rice, Man City’s Ilkay Gundugan and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
Parlour believes that the three players would be ‘brilliant signings’ for the Gunners, but the Gunners legend hopes his former club focus on a deal for £100m-rated Rice.
“Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and Ilkay Gundogan are all top players and would all be brilliant signings for Arsenal,” Parlour told NetBet Casino.
“But I think Declan Rice is the one that everybody really wants to come into that midfield area for Arsenal.
“A player who I’ve always said would do well at Arsenal is Ivan Toney. Bringing in Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan would also be perfect.”
