Ighalo will be the man Al Hilal supporters will be banking on to deliver the goods for them in the game.

The Nigerian scored seven times to lead Ramon Diaz’s side to the final.

“We have prepared well throughout this season and played tough matches before the final, which gives us tremendous confidence to give our maximum energy to win the title,” the forward told a press conference ahead of the game.

This is the first time the 33-year-old will be playing in the final of the competition.

Ighalo hopes to make it a memorable outing by the lifting the title with his teammates.

“I will participate in my first final in this tournament and I am very about it. I have talked to my fellow players about the previous finals, and we will fight to win the title.

“We know the match is not easy and we will face a strong team. I and my teammates will do our best to achieve victory,” he added.

The second leg will hold at the Saitama Stadium on May 6.
