EPL: How old is he – Vidic warns Man United against signing Harry Kane

Manchester United legend, Nemanja Vidic has warned the club against signing Harry Kane from Tottenham.

The former Serbia international is certain that the Tottenham captain is not the ideal striker for Manchester United.

He said that Erik ten Hag’s side should rather focus on bringing in another centre-half, a younger one in that matter this summer.

Vidic said that the Red Devils should go for a centre-forward between the age bracket of 23 and 24 who would stay at the club for a longer time.

The other strikers in Manchester United’s list are Napoli star, Victor Osimhen and Benfica’s Goncalo Ramos.

Asking if Kane could be the answer, Vidic told FIVE, “I will not buy the striker if I am not sure, 100 per cent.” Pushed on Kane again, he added: “For how much money? How old is he?

“He is a top striker for the last 10 years and he will score the goals but definitely I will go for other options. Whatever other options are, I will go for other options.

“There is a way to have a striker for many years.”
