Barcelona's confidence in coach Xavi has not been shaken after their Copa del Rey collapse against Real Madrid.
Real's 4-0 victory stunned Barca and their fans on Wednesday night.
But Sport says Barça have reaffirmed their total and absolute confidence in Xavi - which has been made known to him.
As such, nothing changes and the board intend to offer a new deal to Xavi once the LaLiga title is won.
Last season Xavi managed to steer Barca back to Champions League qualification. He was then backed in the summer with players signed for around €150m.
With the investment and progress of the team, Barca won't waver in their confidence with Xavi.
