Remo Stars coach Ogunmodede upbeat on team’s title aspiration

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede is eagerly looking forward to the second stanza of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The Sky Blue Stars have been knocked out of the Federation Cup and have only the league title to fight for this season.

The Ikenne club started the season on a high before losing their way towards the end of the first stanza.

Ogunmodede reckoned that his team would get better with more games and also challenge for the title.

“We are working on the weak areas in our team ahead of the start of the second half of the season,” Ogunmodede told DAILY POST.

“I have no doubt we will come stronger. The Federation Cup ouster is an eye-opener for us,” he added.

Remo Stars will host Nasarawa United when the NPFL resumes on March 26
