Chelsea legend, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, is reportedly set to join England head coach Gareth Southgate’s coaching staff.
According to TalkSPORT, Hasselbaink is set to join England’s coaching staff as a replacement for Chris Powell.
Powell had worked with the Three Lions in the last two major tournaments but has left his role to focus on his job as head of coaching at Tottenham Hotspur’s academy.
Hasselbaink enjoyed a brilliant career as a footballer and graced the pitch for different top clubs in England and Europe.
The former Netherlands international had his most memorable spell with Chelsea between 2000 and 2004, during which he netted 87 goals and registered 24 assists in 177 matches.
