Champions League: Chelsea gets triple boost ahead of Dortmund clash at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea has received a triple injury boost ahead of UEFA Champions League last-16 second-leg tie with Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Chelsea confirmed on Monday that the likes of Reece James, N’Golo Kante, and Christian Pulisic all took part in full training on Monday morning ahead of the Dortmund clash.

Recall that the trio missed Chelea’s last Premier League win against Leeds United over the weekend.

The west London club confirmed this in a statement via its website.

The statement read in part, “Reece James, N’Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic were all out on the training pitch on Monday ahead of Chelsea’s huge Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund.

“The Chelsea trio were all absent from the weekend’s team against Leeds United, with James a late omission from the squad due to a tight hamstring.

“Reece took part in full training out on the grass, alongside team-mates Pulisic and Kante who have been out with hamstring injuries too.”

Chelsea had lost 1-0 against Dortmund in the first leg in Germany.
