Why Chelsea lost to Tottenham – Potter

Chelsea boss, Graham Potter, has said that his team lost to Tottenham Hotspur because his players did not do enough to score.

Potter said that Chelsea huffed and puffed in the second half against Tottenham.

Two goals from Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane gave Tottenham all three points against Chelsea

The result means Chelsea remains in tenth position on the Premier League table with 31 points from 24 games.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Potter said: “We are disappointed with the result. I thought we started the game well and for 20-25, we were playing well.

“The second half was relatively even but it started as badly as you can start. Once you’re a goal down, in a tight game, it is difficult.

“We huffed and puffed in the second half but we did not do enough to score.”
