West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna invites new contract talks

West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna admits he'd welcome new contract talks.

Ogbonna, who will turn 35 in May, is among the club's longest serving players, having signed from Juventus back in 2015.

Manager David Moyes said earlier this month that discussions with the club's out-of-contract players were yet to begin, but asked whether he was hopeful of earning a new deal, Ogbonna said: “Of course."

“It feels like a family here and I want to be part of this family," he added.

“Now the most important thing is to get our points and we can talk later."
