Per L'Equipe, even though a Qatari bid for United would come from a separate entity, the source of funding is likely the same.
The French have concerns that Qatar may look at United as their prized asset, putting less attention on PSG.
In some way, that could even benefit PSG, considering their policy of targeting high profile transfers has not been a resounding success.
