Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani appears to be struggling to find a new manager.
The Elland Road club were once confident they could hire someone before the weekend game against Manchester United.
However, Radrizzani has been deleting comments he made on Twitter regarding being close to a new hire.
He first posted on Tuesday: “We are on it. Hopefully white smoke by tonight or (tomorrow) morning."
His next comment was to a fan question, stating: “Not yet... need more time. Let's support the lads now. Keep you posted - Andrea Radrizzani."
A more recent post said: “We keep praying and making interviews" along with a praying emoji.
However, some of the tweets were deleted, indicating the process may not be going smoothly.
