Five 'serious' bidders in Man Utd contact

Manchester United's owners the Glazer family are set to field offers for the club in the coming weeks.

Per the Daily Mail, a group of five serious bidders have emerged as the likeliest to buy the club.

A group of Qatari private investors is one of the bids, according to the source.

In addition, there is interest from British billionaire and INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

There is interest from the United States, while rumors of private Saudi bidders also have not gone away.

The Glazers are open to selling some shares for a return on investment in United, but a sale of up to £6 billion is seen as much more likely.
