Bayern Munich wing-back Cancelo: I love Man City; I could still return

Bayern Munich wing-back Joao Cancelo says a return to parent club Manchester City could yet happen.

Cancelo moved on-loan to Bayern last month, with the deal including a permanent option.

However, the Portugal international isn't shutting the door on a City return.

Cancelo told O Jogo, "I hope so. I created a second family there. Bernardo (Silva) has become one of my best friends, he is the one I miss the most. He was my psychologist. When something didn't go my way, he was the one I talked to

"Rubén (Días) too. But my relationship with Bernardo was very good, also on the pitch. We had a special feeling when we played together. He is a person I will have with me for the rest of my life.

"It's clear that I'm rooting for City in England and I hope they win the league so I can celebrate two titles at the end of the season. City's squad is spectacular. It's the best I've ever been in, both as a group and individually. I made amazing friendships.

"It's a fantastic group, I went to training with great enthusiasm. Everything in life has an end. But maybe I will return after the season, you never know."
