Mikel Arteta has said he is delighted to add defender, Jakub Kiwior to his squad in this January transfer window.
Kiwior joined the north London side in a £20 million deal from Serie A side Spezia.
He is expected to be ready for Arsenal’s FA Cup fourth round clash against Manchester City on Friday night.
Arsenal described the Poland international as a versatile defender who will improve the team.
“Jakub plays different roles and is a versatile player, and he’s going to strengthen the team,” he said.
The Spaniard went on to reveal that the Gunners’ next target would be a midfielder.
“We need some more cover in midfield ideally if we can, but in this market, it is pretty complicated to do that.”
