Man Utd boss Ten Hag hails Wan-Bissaka, Fred form

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag spoke to the media about two players who have made an impact in recent weeks.

The Red Devils are enjoying a positive spell of results, with the only blip being a Premier League defeat to Arsenal.

Brazilian Fred has continued to make an impact off the bench, while defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has earned back his first team spot as well.

Ten Hag stated on Wan-Bissaka: "I think Aaron, he was so often ill or injured at the start of the season. He wasn't in the right spirit to contribute. In the restart he was available and he got used to our way of play. I think he has made a good development.

“He is growing game by game. I am also happy the last games the connection between Aaron and Antony, which made it more difficult for the opponent."

He then added on Fred: "I think you mentioned already in your first sermon he's playing together with Casemiro in the Brazil squad, there's not a worse squad in the world, they have so many choices they can make, but they play together and that tells something about the quality Fred has and what he can contribute to the team.

"You see against Tottenham and Man City, when he's coming on last game he scores a goal, he has a lot of qualities, and they're a good combination, Casemiro and Fred."
